I liked doing this one, a little influenced by Bastien Vives' beautiful Taste of Chlorine.
And here's WHOLE WALL of my postcards at the South Bank this weekend. I don't often get to see my work like this: I'm so proud to have been part of this project!
Don't forget to leave a comment about a woman who has inspired you below to win a set of my postcards - winner chosen at the end of Wednesday 14th March.

Not sure I was signed in for my comment, so I'll try again. My all-time favorite inspirational woman is Shirley Chisholm, a congresswoman from New York who was nominated as a candidate at the 1972 Democratic Convention for a presidential race. Her work and accomplishments are too numerous to itemize here. She was something to behold!! http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shirley_Chisholm

Edit to Chisholm note above: She had 152 delegates on the 1st ballot, but George McGovern won the nomination.

Thanks so much for persevering with the typepad interface!
I was just thinking about nominating my own favourite political woman and realised that, right now, it has to be Katherine Stanley, who organises events at Tent City University at Occupy LSX: she's put so much into keeping open a forum for ideas under stormy and changeable conditions: she's a rock!

Jo Vallentine. Peace activist, anti-nuclear campaigner and proto-Green, elected to the Australian senate from Western Australia in the 1980s. She is a bit forgotten here these days. But it was a start.
