Ha! hilarious! And I bet that those lil' critters in thrall to the evil turkey overlord are actually song thrushes or larks or something endangered...

I feel, however, that you disrespect the roast chicken at your peril. Any dish that can bend ANY wine to its will is a force to be reckoned with. Seriously. A salty, crisp-skinned, juicy roast chicken (while tasting epoch-rockingly good in and of itself) makes ANY wine taste fabulous, too. Seriously, I insist you test the theory RIGHT NOW.


It seems that the French can be quite creative with their cuisine de poulet!
I do however prefer the classic poulet roti from my neighborhood butcher.
