on Saturday 2nd September, I'd like to send out an open invite to the Hurst Street Party, where I'll be hosting a community art explosion! Here's the flyer which went through all residents' doors last week.

Of course it went swimmingly, despite the drizzle and communication problems with Oxford Council over road closure which meant that most of the action took place in the garden of the pub on the corner of the road, where we met lots of interesting people including a guy who took lots of photos of us with his phone then told everybody all about his child custody battle...
Then a band of beautiful teenagers played grunge/punk hits while the rain came down and we painted, stitched, glued and hitched ropes. Here are some of the results.
